Training modules the community controls
A self-contained learning site for the American Indian Public Health Resource Center. Three interactive modules the community keeps full control of.
The American Indian Public Health Resource Center needed to put training in front of people without handing their curriculum to a learning platform that would own it, price it, or quietly change it.
What we built
Three interactive modules that run as a single static site. Every question, answer, and piece of media lives in plain files inside a repository the Center controls. There is no course platform underneath, no per-seat licence, and no account anyone has to keep paying for.
Why it was built this way
Training content is knowledge, and knowledge that lives on somebody else’s platform is knowledge you are renting. Keeping the modules as ordinary files means the Center can move them, copy them, fork them for a different audience, or hand them to a partner organization without asking anyone’s permission.
It also means the modules keep working. There is no server to maintain and no software to patch, so a module built today still opens years from now.
Where it stands
Live and in use. The Center can revise a module and publish the change itself.
